Rescue Equipment: We routinely carry highly specialized equipment which allows us to gain access to a casualty in almost any environment and safely extricate them to a place where their medical condition can be more easily managed. We have climbing harnesses, ropes, hardware, helmets, swift water rescue equipment, we even have skis, ice axes and crampons. Medics deployed to work with this equipment will be thoroughly qualified to do so and can also advise on safety procedures if required.

Diagnostics: Location Medics Ltd carry equipment that assists us in reaching a more informed diagnosis of an underlying condition. We are also happy to carry out routine diagnostic checks upon request eg blood pressure, SATs, blood glucose checks, urine analysis.

Trauma and Injury : Location Medics Ltd is equipped to deal with all aspects of trauma and injury. Everything from plasters and ointments to spinal mobilization boards, defibrillators and advanced airway adjuncts.

Illnesses and Conditions: Whether you, or the people you are responsible for have the sniffles or full blown 'man-flu', are unfortunate enough to experience sudden non specific collapse or have a prediagnosed condition such as diabetes, COPD or asthma - Location Medics Ltd routinely carry the facilities and medications to manage these scenarios.

4X4 vehicles: Location Medics Ltd owns a number of 4x4s, one of which is a Landrover 130 ambulance that we have had custom built. The vehicle is absolutely unique and has been specifically designed with difficult and remote access, rescue and extrication in mind.

Due to its increased length, which enables it to accommodate a stretcher, and the exceptional attention to detail and design, it complies fully with the DVLA registration requirements of an ambulance.

No expense has been spared with this vehicle and it should not be confused with the slow, bulky, top heavy ex-military types owned by other suppliers.

Our ambulance is powered by a reliable and powerful TGV engine. It can accommodate a full stretcher and if necessary up to 4 attendant medics. It contains the full life preserving equipment you would expect, and exceeds in many areas NHS and BAA standards of stock and equipment.

Pharmaceuticals: Location Medics Ltd carry full advanced life support medications in accordance with JRCALC guidelines. In addition to this we also have access to a substantial stock of over-the-counter medication to deal with the more routine aches, strains and sore throats.

Personal Protective Equipment : Our medics have two types of uniform both of which are distinctive in a crowd - our crew suits are made of heavy duty flame retardant material. Our second uniforms are designed for remote environments and are taken directly from mountaineering/outdoor technologies. In addition, our medics also have hard hats, safety goggles, gauntlets and will always wear safety footwear.

Whether we are working at the top of Mont Blanc, in the humidity or Borneo or the dust and heat of the Kalahari we recognize that we must have the best medics dressed and equipped to the highest standard. In this way their comfort is not a distraction from the quality of care afforded to our clients

Protection from the Environment : For our clients safety, comfort and privacy we own a variety of protective shelters, the most substantial of which is our custom built 4x4 ambulance. We own easy-ups, high altitude quality mountaineering tents, bothy bags and bivi bags. In addition we have close and enduring relationships with a number of market leading suppliers and can easily and quickly obtain additional specialist equipment at short notice if requested
